Reefing On My Mind
Team RC
Just want all of you to know that I am sitting here this morning in Statistics during my supposed Summer Break... Classes are making me have to work most Saturdays as well..

Hopefully that cheers any of you that aren't happy where you are right now...

Misery loves company... ;)

I have a few of those genuises that can play on their computers and still make good grades in my classes too:lol:
I'm happy..... I'm going to go work out and take the kids to swim lessons:)

lol Not so sure about genius status... We're still going over basic stuff like standard deviation, distribution curves, quartiles and whatnot... Excel does most of this crap for you... :)

I hope I can make it to the gym today... But I really need to start fragging... lol :D

lol Yeah... I love it... :) I need to take some new pics... I also got a white one that is doing fantastic...

Were you the one in there to pick up the other one???

I'm in Business Administration now... :(

nice. No I wrote " hold sunset monti for randy". Afaik, the other one is still there. Love to see the white one.

Really??? I thought someone was going to use their tax rebate to pick that guy up... lol I was wondering if I would have buyers remorse after picking that up, but after selling a few frag packs a felt better about it... :) I'm really glad I picked it up... Some of the others I've seen have skeletons exposed and are selling for more $$$!!!

I'm still debating upon buying one of those skimmers...

You'd think I'd know that... lol Except I left when I was 5... Stupid parents...

If I didn't go back to school, I could be there right now... :D

Ashley wouldn't survive though... She burns rather easily... :)

Yea, but you being a conservative and going to a liberal arts university might not have worked so well!
But when I went I thought that I was a conservative, but that definition has reversed over the years.
What a spin politicians can put on something!

Oh man, the people out in HI are freaking Liberal as hell... I listen to some radio stations out there, and there is talk of secession and everything... I think I'd go insane... lol :D

Yea, but the weather was awesome, and in the mid 70's I had a reef tank with live rock, that was a concept that people didn't pick up on until much later in the hobby.
I also broke all of the 'rules' back then, I had a Moorish Idol, spiney lobster, a manitis shrimp, and skimmers weren't thought of yet.
Water changes were really easy, you either went to the beach or to the Honolulu Aquarium and they had a hose that you just filled your containers with. Yes I did have a under gravel filter with about a hundred pounds of dolomite over it.
Reefing has improved so much since then.

Ah, the memories. First reef tank, UGF included, in '82 here. First acro in '94. Elegance coral that would actually live in the late '80s. Much has indeed changed...

ok what makes thos rhizos so expensive. were do they come from ..what are they related to ..I have seen the orange and white. now being white are they photosynthetic or non..I know i should know all this but i have never heard of them up to a few months ago

All are non-photosynthetic... They are mostly pricey because of where they come from... I believe they are mostly found in Japanese water, but they have recently begun finding them elsewhere which is why they've come available...

I've seen two different types of orange, white, white/greenish, and red... :)

Garry~ I still use Dolomite!!!
