Are You Ricordea Dominated?

Just checking to see if there are any other reefs out there that are all Florida Ricordea or Yuma Dominated.

I run a 75g Florida Ricordea Reef Tank (There are 2 clams and some GSP) that make it not complete Ric tank. Lets see some pics I would post mine but I just did in the (ITS GETTING THERE Thread).

My little Nano 20" cube is about 1/2 Ricordea. 40+ and counting. I'm considering removing the montis and zoas and being only ricordea + clams....

Nice color variations. Are you gonna include any Yumas? or is it gonna just be Caribbean rics? Either way, sweet tank.
I wanna set up a 120 or so with nothing but acans, rics, and rare zoas someday.... Hey, a guy can dream can't he?

How lovely! I have a 72gl bowfront and it's been up for about 6 years..i don't have a heck of a lot of 'stuff' in there..i guess i just build slowly lol! I love the color variety you can get with the rics...just beautiful...i am trying to find someone local who would supply frags. I have some hairy green mushrooms that are huge and keep splitting...i love them but wouldn't mind some other colors!

Thanks!

I tried a lime-green Yuma once and it mysteriously didn't make it. The FLs, on the other hand, seem bullet-proof. Still...it's hard to resist those flourescent yumas.

Here is my main tank as of this weekend. More on the way though!!!

75Gallon Tank
2 175 Watt MH on for 12 hours
I use C-Balance Two Part Calcium and Alkalinity
I also feed brine shrimp to the fish and reef chili to the rics (they seem to like it)

Where are you guys getting your rics? I was thinking of ordering one of the ric multipacs from Liveaquaria, but am a little edgy about dropping that much change without seeing the colors first.

Thanks!

I was just at there Faciltiy for there Yearly frag swap I personally seen the Ric tank they have some nice ones alittle expensive though. I wouldm also try ebay some of the sellers on there are really good people. I get most of mine from a buddy in Florida. I started out getting them from Ebay.
