Are your anemones ready for Irene?

For those of you in the East coast, is your tank ready for a power out? Looks like a big storm no matter what track it takes. I just bought and paid for a Honda 2000W generator just in case I have no power on Sunday and several days after that. My giganteas are too precious to lose. :D and I don't want to hunt for giganteas again.
I lost my tank due to an Icestorm of Dec 2008. It was a one-week event(for some, a lot longer than that) and it was too late to do anything before I realized the tank is in jeopardy.

same boat no generator but i have three power inverters i am going to hook my 2 tunze 6105's up the first 24 hours if it is longer then the mag 12 from the fuge, if longer i have 2 par 38 ill hook up i have 2 750w converters and a 2000w in the work truck

coming from someone in the " Sunshine " state I can give 3 bits of advice.
get a generator
get BLOCKS of ice
get BEER

Power has flickered on and off this morning and just now, we have no power.
I'm really really glad that I went out and bought this generator. :)
Hoping for the best here.

I've been a little frustrated because my tank build has been taking so long (coordinating multiple contributors plus paying it off in installments takes a while). Now I'm kind of glad it wasn't set up, even though my power only went out for a couple of hours. I need to add a reliable source of backup power to the list.
