Are your anemones spawning?

I have read a few posts recently about anemones spawning. I am curious how many of you have noticed spawning behavior in the last week or two. If so, could you share:

(1) Whether you feel it was "natural" i.e. happened on its own, or caused by stress.

(2) Whether it occurred during "day" or "night" photoperiods in your tank.

I am trying to see if there is any relationship to behavior in our closed systems with behavior in the wild.

Anemone

Interesting subject, I saw many posts on anemones spawing, about two weeks ago. I also saw quite a few post and pics of corals spawning, all seem to be related to the time of year and the photoperiod and most importantally to the nocturnal photoperiod especially if the tank was exposed to moon light. The Wakiki Aquarium has episodes of sps, clams and inverts spawing pretty routinely, I would look there as I have seen articles relating to this subject.

Years ago, one of my BTAs spawned, if memory serves it was during the daylight cycle. From watching the tank at that time I do not believe it was stress induced.

As for when one of my Haddonis spawned, I am 99% sure it was stressed induced, and happened during the daylight cycle.
Here is the tread about the Haddoni spawning

I have had lots of spawning even in the past, and they all happened on the same day in 2 different systems. It started out with my coco worm, then moving to a RBTA then switched to a rock flower nem in my othe tank, and then my GLTA in the other tank.

I do believe I have videos of the rock flower and the coco worm somewhere if anyone wants to see it?

These were all in the day light cycle and for sure where not stress induced in anyway shape or form.

My intent was not to say that the spawning occurs at night, but rather is influenced by cycles. In nature spawing is indeed influenced by the cycles of the moon regardless of whether the spawning occured during the day or night. Again interesting subject.

Natural/stress--- seemed to be natural. I did make some tank changes (replaced bubls in lighting and added new powerheads), but this had not seemed to affect the nem.

Night/day--- happened when my actinits were on so "dusk-ish". I also have moonlights and a RKE controlling them so there is some kind of lunar cycle going on. No idea if the tank notices this at all.
