I got a couple of very nice frags, aprox 20 heads on each, the guy i got them from had to drive a couple hours to get to my house. They have been in my tank for aprox 36 hours and have yet to open the pollups are still fleshy and they just seem like they are closed up. How long could it take to open up

Only God knows how long they'll remain closed, my friend.

If they don't show any white or brown film, still closed, but looking healthy, no predators...
Just wait. They'll open eventually. It's part of the game, most times after introduced.
They'll need to get used to your tank before they open.

Agreed. Give them some more time. It's a pretty stressful time for the polyps.
