Arrow Crab eating Long tentacle?

I just happened to notice this first thing this morning. I moved the anemone and the crab seems to follow it. Its not like the crab is starving, i feed often. Has anyone ever heard of this before? Anemone was just moved from my other tank. This is the first arrow crab i have owned. Thanks!

A couple of questions, are you sure the crab is eating the anemone, or stealing food from it? Also, in the atlantic (while diving) I've seen arrows using the condy's as protection, basically living under and around the tenticles, and I assume stealing bigger chunks of food from them as well. I don't keep arrow crabs because they are agressive and will eat almost anything they can overpower, but they usually don't kill healthy animals, from the photo it looks like your anemone isn't doing too well, the foot isn't bright red and not attached to anything, could also be that it isn't happy and that is why the crab is eating it.

I don't think it was taking food, because i hadn't fed yet, and i saw him reaching in and pinching at the anemone. I had the long tentacle in another tank, he wasn't doing so well, so i moved him to the main tank. He's doing very well now. Maybe because of his vulnerable state the crab was taking advantage? Not sure, but it was def. a piece of tentacle he was holding.

I also took a video of him ripping at the anemone. This is usually where the arrow crab stays, so maybe it was a territorial thing? Not sure, but thanks!
