Just saw Collin's tank in person--the color of the lights looks awesome.

What was the price on the stunner strip, out of curiosity? I'm looking to add some LED flare to my existing 55g as well.

Cost around 110 for just the light. Had to also get a transformer and I needed an extension to reach where I wanted it to be.

by the way, these are water resistant. I mounted mine inside the front top edge at a very slight angle backwards

Do you think these could replace my existing t5's, or would serve best as additional lighting? I wanna ditch my coralife fixture so bad. I have a corner 55, so I was thinking a 36" strip in front and a 24" strip in the back.

I got them for the purely aesthetic aspect so I don't have much info for ya there. They don't put off a ton of wattage so I'd lean towards no.

Reef safe?

Yep, likes to hang out at the top of the tank and on the glass. Only reason he wouldnt be reef safe is because he might knock something over if it weren't secured. He loves to grab flake food that floats by his one waving arm

Recently rescaped when I was moving the eel. Wish I was home when the MH were on so I can get a picture that actually shows something. Also had a giant unresolved nitrate spike (that is over thanks to small water changes!) which resulted in the death of about half my corals. Which is sad, but gives me the chance to shop for coral again! haha

Will try to get a MH pic this weekend so you can actually see what I've done with the rockwork
