asexual reproduction of mangroves?

Does anybody know if mangroves can produe asexually? How do you propgate them?

They send off a seedling, which pops out and grows its root before it falls. You should be able to grow it after it falls off the tree itself. (try your hardest not to cut it off the tree because it could still be in the first stages of its growth.) wait till the attachment that it hangs on is dryish woody.

oh and float it in the water first because it wont do so well on the watering can. (we've tried)
