Asfur Angel in a reef: good idea or stupid?

Well the title kinda gives it away, but I would like to know if any of ya all have an Asfur in a reef tank. DD has one on sale for $179 and I am tempted. Is it a 50/ 50 shot or what?

I would try it if you are keeping SPS only. All soft corals will be eaten.

I had an Asfur. It did not mess with corals, clams, softies, sps, lps at all. But, it was a very grouchy fish and chased all the other fish, especially my Moorish Idol.

i dont think it is a great idea if your tank is the 120 in your sig

Mine was fine with leather corals, polyps, and other soft corals but they do get very large and many corals (LPS) and clams will be at risk.

Mine ate zoas of every color. Kept it in a FOWLR tanks where I sometimes added extra corals to. Zoas, xenia, brains, clams, It went after them all.

Thanks for chiming in all. I kinda agree with "random fish guy" that a 120 might not be a good idea for a fish of that magnitude. From the responses above it seems like its a crap shoot. Well not going to risk it in my mixed reef, but I would definitely try it in a sps tank. I'm curious though, does it have a good personality? My CBB and my pacific blue tang have great personalities. I definitely enjoy a fish will good personality!
