asm g1-x quick question...

I am currently using the asm g1-x on a 55 gallon reef with a 29 gallon sump... I know that this skimmer is rated up to 125 gallons, and i am looking to upgrade to a 100 gallon. Just curious if this skimmer would get me by for a while with an average bio load? Thanks for any input...
