Im upgrading to a much larger tank and have some items for sale that I dont need anymore. I do however need the money :p

All items were used on a reef/cuttlefish tank, so no meds or metals were ever used.

Heres what I have:

-ASM G1X Skimmer with Gate valve and Recirculation Mod. With the recirculation mod, you will want to have the water enter the skimmer straight from the overflow. The input takes a 1" standard pvc plumbing to be easily configurable to your setup. Also, a drain tube has been added to the collection cup. The unit needs a little cleaning, but works great!
Price: $150

-Dual 175watt Mogul Metal Halide Retrofit system. Included is the dual ballast with individual on/off switches and power coords to allow independant timers. Quick disconnect cables, the mogul socket and 36" reflector is also included. Also there are 2 bulbs. One Ushio 10k (8 months use with 3 hours a day) and One XM 20k (7months use 3 hours a day) The reflector has some small parts cut off the ends where I had fans. Also, 1 screw is missing on the mogul connection. 15 cents fix.

Price: $180

I live in San Francisco (Portrero Hill) and work from home, so Im easily available. I prefer to sell this local and will only consider shipping if Im unable to sell these in the next week or so.

Hi,

I like what you did with your GSX-1. Is that intake off the outlet from your tank? I'm assuming it's the back pressure from the gate valve that regulates the inlet volume?

fishnfst - Sorry tank and stand has been sold...

Dyngoe - Yes, thats the intake from the outlet of the tank. The gate valve on it regulates how much goes into the skimmer. You only need to adjust this if the amount of water leaving the tank is higher then the capacity of the skimmer which would make the cup overflow. I was using a 700 gph return pump on the tank and I was able to keep that valve closed completely which means all the water from overflow was getting skimmed.
