ASM G2 pump upgrade.

Could anyone please advice me on upgrade sendra pump from 3500 to 5000. My question is: Do I need to modify inlet of GSM 2 from 1/2' to 3/4 '? Or just use a piece of 3/4'pipe as "adapter" to 1/2' inlet?

For a recirulation pump? If it isnt for a recirc pump and with out a gate valve mod it wont work.

On an ASM G2 the biggest Ive seen was a (Sedra9000 recirculation) with a MJ1200 feeding it.

You shouldn't otherwise your venturie does not work right if you try to enlarge the intake.

Hey Phuong, you should get my Euroreef 6-2 with the neck extended to 10" longer with Sedra 5000 recir. and Sedra 3500 to feed it and with a gate valve mod. I will put up for sale pretty soon after I get my BK running in my new tank.

You find a fitting from HD to fit the inlet of the skimmer then connect it with outlet of the pump. Verything else should work fine.

I modified mine work like a cham.
