ASM G3 questions again on Volute/Venturi

Can I order the Volute and Venturi off ASMskimmer.com for my ASM G3's sedra 5000 ?

it doesnt say what pump its for, do they all use the same ones?

I want to have a spare of each, so when they clog, I can just change em and worry about cleaning them after...

I believe that will work. I dont know if they are alll the same but you can e-mail them and ask for sure. I just bought a new SP3 from euro reef(It is a euro reef modified Sedra 5000) It has the new Voulette and venturi plus the Black style impeller. This new impeller is a definate upgrade from the old Sedra style impeeler. You can get these Voulette/venturi from Euro reef right off there website.

I'm trying to decide on "improving" what I have or buying another skimmer

I've herd the re-circ and mesh mod will "improve" things ALOT....



I dont think I would do the re-circ mod, but I am going to lookin into the mesh mod for sure....

I'll let you know about the volute and venturi...

My biggest concerns are noise & reliability, I wont mind doing the mesh or recirc mods, but it must be reliable and quiet and using less power would also be nice, the new ATI BM160 only uses 21w
