ASM Protein Skimmers good/bad?

im thinking about getting the g5 ASM Protein Skimmer..anyone know about these?my tank will be over 500g

i say good....although I don't have an asm, I have a euroreef.....but they are basicly the same skimmer.

I have both types of skimmers in different tanks the euroreef and the ASM. Both work the exact same but made with different material. Euroreef has better quality if that does not bother you. ASM overrates their skimmers also so get a size bigger than what they recommend.

have a asm ran it for a year was every please did the recircultion mod and was blown away im getting twice the skimmate and much darker now.
