asterinas bad for corals?

i was told they eat corals... is this true?

Some do, but most dont. I find when I get too many they move onto eating some of my zoos. Mosy just eat algae off the side of my tank.

I have had asternias eat zoas and the healthy flesh from a birdsnest. I just pull them out whenever I see them now, the risk outweighs the benefit for me.

i was planning on getting some zoas. looks like i'll be removing the two little suckers roaming my tank right now... :/

They are a terrible thing, I personally have had them eat the flesh off a scolly, and a red brain. I pick them off the glass all the time but they keep reproducing. I'm looking for a Harlequin shirmp cause I've heard they will eat them all, in time. Goodluck!!!
