It was funny. The swan has been here for the past 3 years. The best we can figure, someone dropped him there. He had a broken leg, and we never saw it fly. That was the first time.
I do use a tripod of sorts. It's a minipod placed on a rock. I also use a remote shutter release. Those were with either a second and a half or two seconds.
