Most Anthias shoal rather than school...difference is a schooling fish will all stay together and move at the same time in the same direction rather than just within eyesight of each other...In my experience Lyretails and other larger aggressive Anthias tend for the male to be a loner and chase the females around...I've had better luck with peaceful species like Ignitus and Dispars which tend form groups with one male..
