Ati 8x80w

Hi all I'm using an ATI 8x80w on a sps tank
I need some help with bulbs at present I'm using kz bulbs 2x coral light 10000k 2 new gen 14000k 3 super blue and 1 Fiji purple the bulbs are due to be changed and I'm thinking of using ATI bulbs this time anyone suggest a good combo?
Only bulbs available in Ireland are ATI and kz

do you have pics of your tank

why the change?

growth ? colors?

did your tank do well under current lighting

5 ATI Blue Plus, 2 ATI Purple Plus and 1 KZ Coral Light 10k. It will be more blue than your current setup but I bet colors look better.

If the above is too blue, remove a Blue Plus for a KZ New Gneration 14k.

Or you can use 4 blue plus , 2 Purple plus , 2 aquablue special . U can change one PP over to a B+ or Special . I suggested the above combo for a bud since he loves the 20k look . He has not altered the combo .

Thanks for your input would i still get good growth with more of a 20000k look?

Yes, you would . Blue plus bulbs are put out quite a bit of par for a blue bulb . I would have thought u got good growth with the combo u had even though the KZ's are pricier .

Don't use any Aquablue bulbs then. They wash colors right out! The KZ New Gen 14k is a much better choice.
