ATI LED/T5 Hybrid Programming

I know several people have these now. I wanted to start a thread to share programming configurations and ideas. I started playing with the software this AM. Once you figure it out, it's pretty easy and intuitive. A few months ago, I had a member email me his programming. He had a setting for sunrise/sunset using the red LEDs. I thought it was pretty cool and modeled my programming after his. I will post a video of the "preview" when I get home. If you a custom program, share it here. I'll load my program and video preview later this evening.

Here's a screen shot of my custom led setting for the sunrise. Max red and a little of the other colors.

MvM,

Looks great, I've just got my 2 - 4' 8 bulb units going this weekend.
When I try to load a program into either lamp the software keeps stopping at the 45% loaded mark and gives me an error message "error writing to lamp"

Once I get that figured out, I'll probably have a program that runs the bulbs at 100% for a couple of hours. It looks like your program has a shorter "highest intensity" period.

Do you know if programs can only be swapped between identical light units? I have 3 LED modules in mine. I see you have 2.

I just got this fixture and have been messing with the software a bit. It's pretty intuitive but one thing I cant figure out is how to upload it back into the light. I click on save to light and I see the progress bar go to 100% but how do you initiate it to start? Once I unplug the USB it automatically just dims to only the blue LEDs when according to the program and time all lights should be on. What am I missing here?

Ok well, it looks like i found the issue. The instructions state that "the first set point for each channel must always be set to 'ON', while the last set point must always be set to 'OFF'. The last set point must NOT be after 23:59."

That's what screwed me up. I normally program my lights to stay on past midnight (which is 23:59). So when my program stayed 'ON' past this time, it wouldn't upload into the unit.

So this makes me wonder if it would even be possible to keep my lights running past midnight or not without having to program them to turn off and then on back again really quickly. Has anyone tried this?

Anyways, once i fixed this issue, i got it to upload fine.

Mr Sandman,

I just talked to Mike aka Solitude. I just got my ATI 8x80 Hybrid LED last night.

I would like to talk to you.

I am PM'ing my number. If you have a chance, please call me.

Great idea--I have the 48 inch 3 led module, bought when they were first released. Will shoot a screenshot when I'm back in the office, but overall fairly simple configuration so far. The aesthestics of the light rendered is phenomenal, have had good coral coloration and growth in my sps tank to date.
