I have used an ATI PM with 8 Tubes over my tank for the last 12 months, in this time my BTA has Tripled in size. Dont know about the other unit but the P.M delivers IMO, and with a perspex cover to protect the tubes from splashes, definately worth the money(in the UK).

Mine is dimmable and split into 4 channels connected to a profilux

It's not as thick as the powermodule, but that is overbuilt. I have owned the powermodule and I would get the sunpower were I to go t5s again. Teks are ok, but the ati is far better.

An 8 bulb ATI over a 90 will fry just about anything you try to keep. It is WAY too much. 6 bulbs is all you need over an 18" wide tank.

Thats the truth. I use a 4bulb ati sunpower over my 90 with sps, its not great but they are growing.
