atlantic blue tang

I am putting together a fish list for my new tank (100 gallon, with very open rock work) and came across an atlantic blue tang. I have never seen one in person but was assured by a few retailers that they can get them.

Before I commit to one I would like to hear from people who have had them in the past or currently have one.

Tank mates would include
pair of GSM clowns (would be last in tank)
flame angel
pair of YWG with pistol shrimp

Thoughts?

I just aquired my first Atlantic Blue and it is in QT with my qt tank perm inhabitant, a sunrise dotty back. The ABT has shown absolutely no dominance or other types of aggression what so ever. Everything I have read says that this is normal with most if not all other fish including other ABT's. It also says that they prefer groups over being single.

My brother has one and its very aggressive. He got it about the size of a nickel and now its 3" about 1.5 years later. They do get pretty big for a 100g though, I've seen them at a public aquarium the size of dinner plates. Cool fish though.

They are kind of wimpy if you get them to small when big they are not a wow fish but a cool looking fish make sure feed looks of seaweed and they are bulletproof once you raise them up.As far as aggression I would say they are kind of like a scopas.

Mine is a litte on the agressive side. He is with a large Naso tang, blue hippo tang, anthias and small wrasse in a 360. I got him small and juevenile colors. He took almost two years to completely change into a bright bue with wavy lines. Very beautiful fish.

3 things made me consider this fish
1-I love that body shape of a tang
2-awsome looking colours
3-should be able to handle my GSM clowns

They do get large. 100 gallons is very close to the limit for this fish, IMO. Mine is probably 6"-7" at this point.

What are the tank dimensions?

40"x24"24", if he is so inclined he will be able to swim circles as there is no less then 1" any where between the wall and the rock.
