Atlantic blue tangs

Could you put one with a Powder Blue in 375? Still trying to decide my tang list. Have purple and want to add hippo, pbt, mimic, chevron and maybe the Atlantic Blue.

I had one for about a year in my 180. They are VERY active fish. Mine became very aggressive and I ended up removing it from the tank. It is now in a show tank in a doctor's office.

after seeing ckuhndog77 picts. I may be looking for a doctors office. lol. I was under the impression they only got to six inches.I am not sure of a tank upgrade and I know, I would never keep a fish larger than 6in my 90. I'll see how things go.

Here's a couple in the wild! Cozumel - August 07.:D

Does anyone here have one that they've raised from the juvenile coloration to the adult blue? I've been looking for one locally for the last 3 months and my LFS FINALLY got one this week. I went to look at it today and it's a pretty drab looking gray color. Is this just a phase between the yellow and blue or is this its final coloration? The area around the tailspine is bright blue.

It is in the middle of changing from juvenile to adult. This is the way mine looks, it's totally normal.

My alantic blue tang almost 2 years in my tank since i bought it for 2.5"(juv), right now is 8" long. Very agressive to other angelfish and tangs, grow up fast and eats a lot, and always changes courlor on his body.

I have seen them all over Fla. from the Keys to the panhandle in schools of hundreds sometimes pushing a thousand. I have neaver seen one in the wild over 6''. and these fish swim miles up to 20 a day grazing.

NOOOOOOO Reeftanks6...... Your tank ( as well as mine) are WAY too small for a atlantic blue. If you do actually go to the Fish Place ( your avatar) check them out full grown. There is no way. Do not leave the Ctenochaetus family
