Atlantic Puffer, wild caught

I think it's amazing that when we see these guys in the LFS they are about 1 1/2" long. I caught this guy off the pier in Surf City, NC this morning. He was beautiful and had some amazing teeth. He was about 8" long.

We used to catch a lot of these off the outerbanks. My father always called them "blow toads." We never ate them because apparently if you don't clean them correctly they can be toxic, but people who know how to clean them say that they are delicious eating.
