Ato float valve backup

I'd read someplace you were working on adding a back up float valve option to your ato, any updates on this?

Yes.
We have it done and tested. Just haven't had time to get the instructions written up. Here is a photo:

I will do my best to get instructions finished for this by the weekend. I also need to finish instructions for the CS1 recirc kit too, so I am in manual-writing mode :)

The float valves are now on the site as an option:

Nowlan, it's a float valve, not an electrical switch. It mechanically closes the top-off tube, so if the pump stays on, it simply blocks all flow into the sump. If you use a strong peristaltic pump or similar, you may want to plumb in a bypass loop that runs straight up, higher than the level of your sump, then loops back down into the top-off container. That way, the water has somewhere to go without bursting the tube from the fittings. This isn't necessary for an aqualifter, powerhead, or other low pressure pump.

The magnetic switch is rated for 240v, but the outlet is a 110v style. We are planning to do a 240v version once we can source the correct parts; it's been difficult to locate a convenient little project box with a built in 240v male plug like our 110v box.
