ATO for nano

I misplaced my DIY ATO that I made with an aqualifter and relay box. I need an ATO solution for my 25. I want something small and reliable. Cost is irrelevant.

if cost is moot, then i'd say get the tunze osmolator, or the new smart micro ATO, those are probably your best bets.

i think the tunze will win hands down though, i'd only considering the smart micro for the size.

You won't be sorry. Did you grab the nano version, or full?

Nano said it was for up to 55 gal, so on a 25 it seemed appropriate. Amazon will deliver Friday. I wish I could set up AWC like I do on the big tank, but sadly I think the RKL doesn't offer anything like the DOS on my bigger tank. Buckets suck, but so does a crappy tank.....

Update: twice a small snail has gotten in the float. Easy to get going again, and no floods. However, the Avast in my main tank hasn't missed a beat in a year. If I had to do it again, I would choose Avast over Tunze.

Had JBJ, DIY aqualifter setups..if cost is irrelevant go with tunze osmolator...best I have had so far.

If your feeding your fish once a day, forget the ATO, just "feed" your fish.... (level it out) ;)

The return section is pretty small. And I'm going to add a fan to increase evaporation for cooling this summer too. The problem is minor and I can glue a small screen on the bottom.
While I like the pump in the ATO container, it does mean I need a larger hole in the top. I especially like that, if it runs too long, it shuts off. Seems better that a high-water float valve and extra wires.
