ato for neptune

Assuming you have an Apex or Apex Lite, all you would need is a breakout box and a couple float switches. If you have an Apex Jr, then you will also need an expansion module PM(1,2, or 3) in order to gain the ability to read switches.

Then it is just a matter of programming the desired behavior. If you have not read it yet, the New Users Guide is stickier at the top of the forum or can be found on the Neptune website. It has loads of info on setting things up.

I just ordered the Avast...I should have it soon. I heard that its wired for the Apex so I got it with the backup float.

Much more direct control. By monitoring the float switch as an input, the Apex can be programmed to respond as needed. You can use a low and high level floats to detect problems in the sump.

You can also program an alarm so that if it hits a certain level in the sump it goes off.

I suggest that you add a failed circuit buzzer to the apex as the audible alarm is not that loud.

They arent the cheapest but what's your tank worth to you.
