ATO holding tank

Good grief !!! I understand this hobby ain't cheap but sheesh 80-150 bucks for a acrylic container to hold water is insane to me does anyone have or know of a place to get one cheaper than that ? I have room for a max 6.5" wide container

I just use one of the 15g Rubbermaid bucket things people usually fill with ice for drinks.

At 6.5" wide your going to be limited, any food grade container will work if it fits your space. Something like this.

That's exactly what I use just a 5 gallon version it works perfect. You can usually find them at LFS or if you have restaurant supply place near by.

You can pick up a Sharps container. Honestly, it’s just a container to hold water with a lid, doesn’t need to be anything special. They also come in various sizes that fit perfect in a stand with limited space. You can also find them in Red, Yellow, translucent almost CLEAR. The Flat top ones have a small opening to feel the pump though. I like them because you can get THINNER shapes and sizes to fit in smaller stands. Easy to clean as well. Just watch that you don’t drop or whack them as they can crack easily, but to just sit and hold water they are perfect and cheap enough to buy 2-3 and have a backup you can stack
