ATO optical sensor not working

I know another question...
I put the sensor together pluged it in
Went to the digital bar and made S5 water 1
Went to level and did ATO on sensor one.....
and nothing...... what I'm I doing wrong?

The reaction time is set to what?
And
Is the ATO function set to "always active"

time is set to 10sec and the function is always active

Then it has to be reflection on the optical sensor itself (too bright environment)..... Make sure you light don't hit it too strong.

covered it with a towel a still nothing....
is anything suppose to be checked off on the current sensor states at the bottom right of the level page... I have a faint check mark in sensor 2 in both boxes...not sensor 1, is that what is suppose to be?

One question, how many sensor do you have?

Have you tried to reset the sensors?

I have 1 optical sensor
how do I go about doing that (reset)

if there is an error it will ask you if you want to reset it!
