ATO reservoir

Hey Gang,

Just curious what others are doing for ATO reservoirs. I am thinking about finding a local acrylic guru and have an acrylic reservoir made. Anyone do this and have a contact locally?
I will need it to look decent as it will be sitting beside the tank.

Any thoughts? I am picking up the JBJ ATO this week.

I had mine built. Basically the largest container I could fit in my stand after everything else was done. That's the way to go. On my qt tank I use a 5 gallon bucket.

Where/who did you have build yours?

I had a local guy quote me to build one for me but the price was way too high. I ended up buying Trigger System's new 10gallon ATO reservoir that matches my sump perfectly. I took the same approach as Rovster, went with the biggest container I could fit under my stand and still have a bit of room for the remaining equipment.

I got mine built by Aquarama. Work was definitely not top notch, but for the price I wasn't complaining. It would have cost me more to source the materials and build it myself. Can't remember what I paid but I do remember is was well worth it and much less than I expected.

I got mine custom made from some guy or of state and he shipped it to me. Mine is 10 gallons

Because of my space restraints in my cube's stand(25x25), I didn't have much space to work with after my sump is in the stand. I bought a 6gal dog food container(tall) from petco. Fits perfect with my sump facing front to back. Costs about $10. Not fancy but gets the job done.

Still an easy build? If so, do you build? And what kind of cost should I anticipate?

I just made a extra chamber in my sump, even if a pump or sensor fails i dont have to worry about overflows
