ATO..RO/DI water or Mixing water

I have a question about ATO unit.. So should we connect ATO unit to Ro/di water or Mixing water.. Or both.. which one is good..

Always hook your top off to a freshwater source (NOT Salt)

the salt doesn't evaporate from the tank, just the water.

Turn off the ATO before a water change.

yep, as above. replace evaporation (ATO) with freshwater (RO/DI). water changes with saltwater.
