iced98lx New member Apr 18, 2013 #5 Always hook your top off to a freshwater source (NOT Salt) the salt doesn't evaporate from the tank, just the water. Turn off the ATO before a water change. Hope that helps!

klwheat New member Apr 18, 2013 #7 yep, as above. replace evaporation (ATO) with freshwater (RO/DI). water changes with saltwater.
