ATO / RO water

Do you keep your RO water for top off in a container with a lid, have a powerhead for movement have heater? Right now mine is a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. I tried the brute container but the water "spoiled" and smelled fowl after a week or 2. I go through about 4 gallons a week. But would like to move up to a bigger container. Wondering what I should do.

My ATO reservoir is a 32 gallon Brute that usually lasts over a week, but I fill it weekly. I haven't had any issues with odors and it is covered but not heated or mixed.

I run a 6 gallon bucket with lid. Usually fill it every 4-5 days. No heat, no mixer, just an ato pump. I clean the bucket out once in awhile.

Ive gotta 30g drum I use for top off. I have it connected to my ro/di so I can fill it up directly. TBH I usually just keep the ro/di valve open so it stays full. I dont keep a PH in it for circulation, I dont think it's necessary . It's got a hole in the top of it so it's open but just partially.

I make and store 55 gallons in a drum and my ato is a 40 breeder. Every week when I fill up the 40 I put a dose of prime in it.

My225 gallon containers sit full with RODI, the water never smells foul, cloudy, etc, etc.
