ATO water storage

i set up my tunze 3155 a couple of weeks ago and love it but had a question regarding the stored water.
i've been making RO water and transfering it to a rubbermade bin that has only the return pump and water in it. i was wondering if i'm supposed to also be agitating the water or if it's fine sitting as is?

RO water can sit still without worry. Just make sure its covered so stuff doesnt get into the tank.

Just as a precaution, dont put tons of water on reserve for ATO. You dont want the thing to somehow run and dump 30 gallons of water onto the floor. Usually enough water to cover a few days.

i should be good then :)
i keep 20 or so gallons on hand which is probably a weeks worth but also have the space in my sump to accommodate the extra room. the hypo-salinity would be a bigger concern for me if it all got pumped in.
thank you for the advice!

I just use a 5 gallon bucket from Homedepot and drill a hole on the cover and that's it. My tank is 40 gallon and sump is 25 gallon-ish.
