attaching a green plate montipora frag

Just curious what other people do with the plate frags? I attached it with TUNZE 2 part, the stuff that looks like play dough that you kneed together. to a peice of base rock. I am just wondering if anyone has tried anything different with good sucess?

Crazy glue Gel. Works like a charm. Reef Exotics has a nice version of it that is thick and easy to use.

I usually mix up some of the stick epoxy (whatever brand you go with), then take part of it and secure it to the piece of coral, and take the other piece of epoxy and really press/ wedge it into the live rock where you want to place the coral, leaving a bit of hill of epoxy, then before the epoxy sets push the two epoxies together with a slight twisting motion. This way you don't have to put extreme pressure on the coral frag trying to secure it to a rock.

i use a little clump of epoxy and put superglue gel on the top and bottom of it. press the frag into one side, then the other side get stuck to the rock.

I use reef glue and attach it to 1/4" hard tubing. Then slid the tubing into holes drilled in the rock.
