just recently every time I put my hand in the tank my false percula clowns attack me. Iv had them about a month and they just started attacking me recently. They have not gone near my anemone so I don't think they are trying to protect it. Does anyone know why they are bitting me. I might not be feeding then enough I feed then once a day and only what they can eat in 2-3 minutes then I scoop the left over food out of the water. It doesn't really bother me they can't bite all that hard but I want the best for my fish, they seem very healthy. Am I neglecting them ? Should I feed Them twice a day

Relax, it happens quite a bit. Seems like they've taken the whole tank to be there's only and don't really like anything or anyone coming in. This happens quite a bit. Look up the Anemone/Clownfish section and you'll read all the stories there.

Normal behavior for clown fish in a smallish tank. It gets worse once they have sexually differentiated and begin mating.

Yeah mine always do it when my hands in the tank and im looking away. They always scare the living daylight out of me. I end up yanking my hand out the water and soaking everything and everyone ( the wife ). Im such a girl.

Yes what a trip my clown just started biting me when I put my hand in to clean the glass that guy is pretty mean, LOL to watch him.

they don't bite me when I feed them they usually bite me when I have my hand deep in the tank. Its the more timmid of the two that bites me the most he bites me quickly swims away then bites me some more. he is cute little guy
