introduction
Reef central has supplied me with endless amounts of information on marine aquariums. The large reef tank forum as inspired me to build my own large tank. This will be my second marine. As my first was a 90g.

Objective
To have a reef tank that is well stocked with both fish and coral, but also reliable and sustainable.

60inch long by 30inch wide and 32 high with a starfire front panel.

System type
mixed reef, predominantly sps.

Filtration
Skimmer: 850mm high bracket skimmer fed by a aquamedic OR 6500l/h
Sump: 24inch by 14 inch by 20inch

Lighting
Two Luminarcs with either lumatek 400w ballast or Dynavision 400w

Circulation
Closed loop: Reeflow hammer head with Oceans motions 4 way version 3.
Return: Aquamedic OR 2500l/h

Nutrient export
Nitrate: MS nitrate reactor with LSM and refugium (Calurpia macro algae)
Phosphate: Phosguard in fluidised bed filter and refugium

Dosing
MS calcium reactor with ARM media
MS Kalk reactor
Red sea ozone unit

Monitoring
Profilux profiset to controle Ph, temp, automatic water changes, lights, C02 injection to CA reactor and auto top up.
Red sea ORP meter.
 
I'm doing a very similar sized tank... mine is 60"x36"x26" (240 gallons)... can't wait to see how it comes...

Btw .... U don´t think that 80 cm (31,5 inch) is too tall for proper maintenance ???
