I don't believe that there is a club in Auburn/Opelika, but there is a well-established club in Montgomery and a club trying to form up and grow in Columbus/Phenix City, I believe. Just let me know if you if you would like any information on our club in Montgomery. We have members from the Auburn/Opelika area and further away.

I was in Montgomery touring the fish stores today actually. The price of the small frags I saw was pretty shocking. Back in 1990s when I had my first tank, I could buy nice show piece corals for less than some of the tiny frags I saw today.

we'd love for you to join us. I am the treasurer and you can either sign up in one of two ways. the club accepts money via paypal at our email address...montgomeryreefclub@yahoo.com or you can mail me a check. If you want to pay check pm me and i'll send you the address. It is $20/year and you'll get 10% off livestock at the two local fish stores in Mtg...Aquarium Fantasies and Atlantis Aquariums. I'm sure you went to AF today, but AA is about 5 miles from AF. It's a little smaller and it's best to call first if you want to pop in. I don't know number off hand, it's on our website or the yellow pages online. We are working on two more LFS's in the state. Dont' have anything confirmed yet, hope to soon though. As soon as money is received, i will mail you a membership card.
We will be having our APril meeting at Gary Flatness's house next weekend. He has a bunch of frags as well. lmk if you'd like to join us for that, & i'll pm you his address. He's in Mtg.

Yes there is a club in phenix city/ columbus area its www.valleyreefs.com We are going pretty strong now. Sorry for the late reply.
