Man, this surprise thing makes me a little more bitter about my current car problems! lol Hopefully we will be able to make it!

We have the possibility of getting a rare speaker this month only.
But since we already had stuff planned this month they are trying to figure out if we want to bump the current schedule..

It's VP's surprise so I can't spill too much...
but It's a big author in the reef keeping books.

I think he just does not want to get peoples hopes up if it does not work out..
Hence the secrecy right now..

Rob, I'm pretty sure "more cental" means farther away from you, not closer.

Thanks Steve for the update. Even if you have a "special" speaker, I won't be able to make it to the meeting this month. Actually - if you get a rare speaker, that's good for me. I really want to see the acrylic construction video. I was bummed that I missed Karen's talk last month. Scuba diving has been getting in the way of the MARS meeting.

Wow, awesome job you guys! The Reef Aquarium books by Delbeek & Sprung are my favorite reefing books by far. Should be great.

I'm out of town and have limited access to computers and time to sort things out, this was a now or never last minute thing that I was hoping to get people tuned in to pump attendance to the meeting, but couldn't talk about until it was 'for sure' supposed to happen. Sorry if it chafed anybody. Just a volunteer doing the best I can. I can't wait for Charles Delbeek to speak to our club!

Sweet! Great to Charles again. Now that he's a Northern California resident, hopefully we'll see him on a regular basis.

Hope I can make it to this one. Just lost my two prized clams this week.

I totally understand your reasoning for doing it. Personally - I think you're doing an excellent job, and your heart is in the right place. Keep up the great work! I hope to be able to make it to the October meeting unless my wife ambush me by volunteering me AGAIN for other stuff.

although it was a little annoying waiting for the secret to be revealed only because i'm not very patient i was not offended in any way. People seem to get bent out of shape for the strangest reasons around here
