August Meeting

I am proposing an unusual meeting this month. I have been having some bad algae problems for the last month or so. I think that I am going to add a refugium to my tank to try to help with it. I am planning using a 55 for my sump. I will need to remove the braces that hold the doors. Although they are weight bearing, but I don't think that they hold the whole thing up. But, since they are weight bearing, I am a little nervous about removing them and changing out the sump without other, more mechanically inclined people around to help me. I know that offering to have a meeting that involves work might be poor form, but I enjoy working on tanks and don't consider it work and was thinking maybe some of you feel the same. Jimmy, I still want that 55.

I'd like to do it pretty soon. Maybe the weekend of the 12th. I figure a weekend afternoon would be best. What do you guys think?

did you say something about fragging the blue milli? i thought you said that was what we were doing. j/k

i know you said you are having a bubble algea problem, but you should look at my tank. i have bubble algea out the butt right now. the only thing i can contribute it to is high co2 in the tank.

You name the algae, Ive got it. If you are fragging that purple polyp cap I might be fragging the milli.

What day would be best Saturday 12th or Sunday 13th, I think early afternoon would be best like 1 or 2. I don’t go to church so that is not an issue for me but I know it is for some of you.

Ok, slight change of plans. Unfortunately, the 55 leaks. I can still do a regular meeting. Maybe later in the day might be better. I might just go back to the 10 gallon witha gate valve to reduce flow through it.

I can do it whenever. Even when it is already set. I just thought later might be more convinient for others.
