August MRC meeting

Just wanted to let ya'll know that Dave from Atlantis Aquariums will be hosting this month. It will be mid-late month on a Sunday. I will post soon for a confirmed date and time.

invite to meeting

I am new to this type of society and would like to know how to get an invite to the meet.I am a member of mnarc and buy mostly from coral reefs.

I'm sure no one would mind if you came to the meeting garry55 but if you need reasurance you can always pm gflat or scapes to be sure...and seeing as atlantisaquari is holding the meeting at his place and is asking how to get more people to attend he won't mind and you can always check out the clubs website @www.montgomeryreefclub.com

If you're talking about club meeting or frag swaps, no invitation needed. Anyone is welcome to come to MRC meetings (we're located down in Montgomery). As for the frag swap, smoe have admission, most don't, but they want as many to come as they can get. Chattanooga's is this weekend. If you're not doing anything Saturday, I'd recommend cruising up there to see what you can find. It is easily the second largest in the Midsouth.

I spoke with Dave yesterday about the meeting and afterwards, we'll move over to No Way Jose's for some light eating, for those interested. Dave said he could at least buy us some cheese dip, etc.. No Way Jose's is one of my favorite places to eat out, so we'll be there.

ok..let me ask the "dumb" question...Is it going to be at Dave's store or house? Thinkin store but want to be sure cause I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to get to town early enough to ride with Sue and Bill....last minute wedding details (for my youngest daughter) are killing my weekends...where is Jose's at?

it will be at the store. pm for directions if needed. also no way jose's is just off the mitylene exit ( the one after the taylor road exit ) in the shopping center where that brunos used to be.

dont forget to get the word out to your reefing friends about the meeting.

As usual, I'll ask - anyone need/want anything I've got? I have so much of the purple porites/monti, I'm going to have to cull it and throw it out anyway, so if anyone wants to try it, now's the perfect time.

Seems like I remember some people wanted replacement green chalice. May have that wrong, though. That's available, too.
