Feed it at least once a week with mysis shrimp or LPS pellets will help scans to grow a lot faster IMO.

What type of lighting low light especially with halides . And feed often.

with just general care. I have a 70 gal, 24" tall with 250 watt halides. I have it on the sand right now... im wondering where to mount it n what they eat. thanks for the help

Mysis Shrimp or LPS pellets as stated before, or if you feed with rods food, soften a piece up and drag it lightly across the feeder tentacles.

LPS pellets work well. I have a feeding tube so I do not have to even get my hands wet. (I do turn off pumps when feeding).

I don't really really feed mine and they d o just fine. I have found that the polyps grow fast but the skeletons take for ever.
