Aussie Gold Torch Coral Spawning.....

Came home to a nice surprise this evening. It appears that one of my Aussie Gold Torch pieces has decided to spawn and broadcast eggs. :bounce1: I'm not under any illusion that I'll have random and sporadic Torches sprouting around in my display...but it is pretty cool to observe and great source of feed for the display's inhabitants. :D

Congratulations and great pictures. I had this happen about a year ago and now have 6 new colonies in my tank.

6 NEW colonies?!? That's awesome! Did you find the colonies sprouting all over your display?

Sadly; I believe I won't be having any new ones sprout or grow in time. I'll be changing and upgrading my display this month. This will most likely shock whatever managed to survive (my best guess).

Indeed, in fact at first I was afraid I had a mojano anemone outbreak until they grew out of the rocks a bit.

Because of the growth of the Torch corals, placement of corals has become "challenging" luckily I am upgrading my display size to give them more room.

Good luck with with your upgrade!
