australian stripey search

I recently got one from the LFS, and they had 3 to begin with, so maybe they are available at some wholesalers right now? I'd check with your LFS. Also, I'm not sure how color relates to origin, but look for the nicer (IMO) yellow ones...

Observing them when I'm diving and yes they are very active swimmers. They live in small schools. I would get one that is very yellow as it means it is healthy. If I could mail you one I would ;)

i mean you could catch me a nice yellow one and ship him to me lol im sure we could figure it out ;) i love the color and him and my white cheek tang would be my two big fish and then i just want a few smaller ones not sure as to what i have a royal gramma in this tank and a tiger gobbie

Hehehe lol. A mate of mine caught a tiny one the size of your thumb nail while catching ghost shrimp. He raised him up to about three inches but had to release him because the clowns were bullying him. The stripey was very peaceful and a beautiful fish to, and I think he'll get on great with your tang:). I say definitely get one or if you have space get two for a pair.

Mine is still in QT. My one concern about adding him to the DT is his spazzy swimming behavior. He freaks out the other fish in QT with his swimming antics... hope it doesn't happen in the DT as well.

what do you mean his spazzy swimming behavior?

He should settle down in the DT and have a calm cruising swimming style.

Really? That's good to hear, because while doing research online about these guys, the comment about swimming very quickly came up multiple times.
