Auto top off with my RODI unit

Hello again.

I have another silly question that hopfully you can answer.

I bought the Oceanwave + from thefilterguys. ( Recommended by Reef Central folks )

My goal is to hook the RODI unit directly to my sump and have a float valve of some sort to turn it on/off when needed. I am going to hook it under my bathroom sink, (drain and water flow ) and run the line to the otherside of my wall where my tank sits ( will not be able to to see the lines anywhere because the tank sits right behind my sink )

The RO/DI unit is very nice, looks like it is built really sturdy.
My only question tho is it comes with an auto shutoff valve but says it requires a float valve to work.

How are the 2 supposed to work together? I don't see any power cord to the shutoff valve. what makes it turn off?

And can someone who has thefilterguys RO unit recommend a float valve to use.

Thanks for all the help, everyone has been great.

basically pressure makes the auto shutoff valve close. Without it your rodi would constantly make wastewater even though you are not using it. basically float valve closes and pressure build-up makes the auto shutoff close thus not wasting water and membrane life.
