I just picked up my Vertex Omega 150 so the ASM G3 is now up for sale. Absolutely a beast of a skimmer. This one is a few years old but in excellent condition. I converted it to a recirculating skimmer in April. The difference is night and day. I also performed the gate valve mod on it which makes adjusting the skimmer an absolute pleasure. VERY fine adjustments are possible. The unit is currently working at 100% as you can see by the pics which were taken 4 days ago. Unit is cleaned up and ready to go. I have the original silencer as well as the unit in the picture which has a built in charcoal/felt insert. The Rio 400 is 5 months old and a perfect match for the skimmer for the feed circuit. All fittings are John Guest for ease of cleaning. Skimmer comes completely apart for easy cleaning. This is a great skimmer to start out with or as a upgrade from something smaller. Up next is a solid Oak/Pine canopy for a 120 gallon tank. Canopy measures 27 3/4 front to back, 54 1/2 wide and 19" tall. Sized to fit a 48X24 tank. Front flips up for easy access. All glue/pocket screw construction. Stainless piano hinge. Holes in the top for ventilation. Front panels are true floating panels. Currently finished in an antique style white. Can be painted any color you wish or left as is. Asking $200. I am SLIGHTLY negotiable on this but don't get stupid with any offers. Will also trade for a used MP10Wes in good condition. 16" Lumenbrite SE Reflector. One of The BEST MH reflectors made with plenty of proof to back that claim up. Will easily cover 24"X24" area at 16" AWL. Because they can be hung so high heat is almost a non issue. This was in a canopy over my 60 cube, 16" AWL and tank temp would rise 1-1.5 degrees while it was on w no fans in the canopy. I will include the rack that I made to support the unit. Comes with a Electronic 250W Ballast from Coral Vue. The included Ushio 20K 250W bulb is 5 months old and was run for 5.5 hours a day so it has PLENTY of life left in it. Connectors between pendant and ballast have built in power indicators as well as a ground check LED. Setup is in MINT condition.
