Average Frogspawn Growth?

I know, its really hard to judge and say what is "average" for growth considering so many different variables, but what are most seeing in terms of new heads/growth?

Here is an older picture, back in May I believe:

Clearly its not happy here but it basically looks the same now, I'll have to wait to get home from work to snap another pic. Im not trying to make excuses but it was a very busy summer, but now that there is snow on the ground and I really looked at the tank I was thinking that it should have grown a lot more since then!

Mine is a cluster of 4 heads; almost 3 months in my tank and nothing new yet. Between it and a candy cane I'm waiting for them to "wake up" and start sucking calcium. Any day now...

Ive been waiting for well over a year...come to think of it, well over a few years! Ever since I moved away from my small 29 hex to the 75, Ive had trouble with them. SPS and Zoa's, no problem, LPS forget it. They'll live, but not thrive.

A few months ago I noticed most SPS was pretty pale, zoa's smaller and of course the frogspawn retracted when I realized the water was too clean, up'd feeding, added fish, took GFO offline. Colors coming back, zoa's happy and spreading...frogspawn sitting there with its middle finger up.

I have 1 Frogspawn, two hammers and a torch that would fit under this criteria.

The frogspawn was added to my tank as a one head frag in November of last year, so a year now. It went from one head to 4 heads as of right now.

The hammers were added in March and both have gone from 1 head to 4 and 5 heads respectively.

The torch I got two months ago with two heads already on it and even though it has gotten a bit larger in size and reach, it has yet to split any new heads, but it has been a short period of time and I haven't target fed in a while due to Green Hair Algae.

If you target feed them with anything good once a week, they will start growing, but your algae may start growing as well. That is what I have experienced myself.

By the way, all of these like a moderate to stronger flow and light. Hope that gives you an idea of what to expect.

This is my rock with the two hammers and the frogspawn.

Good luck.

Here it is today, looks almost the same. Ill start target feeding and see if it makes a difference. Typically though, i feed a variety of foods, mysis, formula 1 and 2, pellets, and a few times a week put in some Rod's.
