Yes, I find it very entertaining. But mostly because we have no alcohol in the house at the moment and I can't share in the confusion.... :)

Sorry, Dustin, I gotta get to bed. I am supposed to be getting up at a decent time tomorrow for a trip to and from Dallas. If all holds out well (i.e. I get my REQUIRED tasks done first) then I will be bringing myself back:

A Pair of Pink Skunk Clownfish (Amphiprion perideraion)

And a Valentini Puffer (Canthigaster valentini)

And maybe a coral banded shrimp or 2 or something.... :)

SWEET!!! okay, you have a good nights sleep and I will talk with ya later!!! I will get those addresses for ya!!! :-)

Night,
Dustin

How was the trip?? take pics of what you got! :-)
I got back late tonight and had a full car load of apartment crap to unload, so another REALLY late night for me.

And CRAPPOLA! The silly Dallas store I made it to in the evening that was supposed to have the best assortment and healthiest fish around didn't have EITHER of what I wanted. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!

(insert expletive here)

So I compromised and picked up a Coral Banded Shrimp (which my wife REALLY loves) and a nice 5-6 or so head candycane coral for $15. Woot! And some DTs and frozen foods.....

Oh yeah, and the best prize of ALL is a gorgeous Cherry Red Blastomussa. I got it from Extreme Corals at a great deal. I haven't taken any pics yet, but can show you this one that I stole from their website. And it really looks that good.

So no clowns or puffer yet for me. I am thinking, however, about making a trip up to Oklahoma City tomorrow (later today?) and attempt to find what I am looking for at one of the area stores.

I'd really like to make it up to Aquariums, since I never manage to get all the way up there. But I'll likely also stop by some of the more southernly stores (Wet Pets, maybe swing over to the Reef Shop).

Heck, it's been a while since I have been over to ART..... So many fish stores, SO LITTLE TIME! :)

Well, I did manage to get what I was looking for up in the city today. I got my pair of Pink Skunk Clownfish from Wet Pets and a Valentini Puffer from the Reef Shop, as well as a few other odds and ends. All in all, it was a good day visiting the stores....

Except I couldn't get all the way up to Aquariums before the kids gave out. But at least we got our fish.... :)

hahah, hey, I was going to ask you, where did your wife graduate? I think I know her from somewhere... or it might be another person i know that looks like her!... I am very glad you got all the stuff you were looking for, to bad the kids koncked out!

Well, we did end up having a great day, just long. The drive to and from OKC in one day is one thing, plus 3 fish stores..... :D

As for my wifey-poo, she is a 1995 high school graduate from Cleveland, Oklahoma and a 1999 college graduate from the great school, Oklahoma State University....

hmmm.... guess I dont know her... did she ever live in woodward or enid??..... I guess I will update you on the progress on my stand here... WAITING FOR THE BATTERIES ON MY DRILL TO RE-CHARGE!!! :-( *L* Sometimes I love cordless, and sometimes I hate them!!!

I know what you mean. My current cordless drill is a Ridgid X2 model from Home Depot. The sucker came with 2 batteries and a dual 30-minute charger. The sucker rocks....

Don't get to use it often enough nowadays, though! :)

Dustin,

I hope your halfway sober while building this stand. You sure would not want to wake up and find oddball angles and a stand that is not level. Not that I would be, just thinking that is a better way to build without too much redo.

HAHA, well, I have been drinking, that is why I have stopped for the night, but I am going to add pics here pretty quick, I will post them as soon as I can upload! :-)
