Awsome piece. What is it and how much?

Recieved this from a friend who is moving. greatest thing is it was for free. I didnt get to ask him what it was, but I would like to know what it is and how much you think its worth. Dont mean to toot my own horn but it is much more vibrant in person. its Hot Red and blue.

I have one that looks just like it but a different color morph. I believe it is just a discosoma mushroom. I paid $8 for mine.
