Azoo fan mounting question.

I wanted to order one but was unsure of mounting. some site say it is only for rimless tanks. I have seen them on rimmed, but mine is a little wide. AGA 90g Just wanted to know if it will fit.

I had to trim the tank bracing down a little to get the mount to fit.

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed with the amount of air my 4 fan Azoo moves. It is a quality built fan, 2 years without a problem, but it just doesn't move much air.

I was currious about that cause they have it at 38 cfm, but I didn't know it that was for the 4 fan model. Didn't seem like much but could not find a comparison.

I have the 4 fan azoo on 1 side of my 75 and a cheap clamp-on I got from Walmart for about $10. The cheap one moves more air than the azoo

In it's defense the azoo is dead silent and looks a lot better on the tank than the clamp-on.

Well I liked them cause they are inexpensive and do look good, but I might have to reconsider. I have a clamp on but the clamp is wrong. Might hae to try and find another one.

What about the tunze fan unit, I saw them on the marinedepot site? The clamp ones blow great but are noise.

The Tunze Aquawind is a rebranded Spire Pacific Breeze .

I have the Spire running in another tank. It works well and I like the look of the blue lights. You have to get real innovative with mounting the Spire(it doesn't have any mount at all) and need to get a USB power supply (I used one from an old phone charger)
