Baby Brine Shrimp Help

I hatched by first baby brines for my dwarf horses but have a question about the brine shrimp. Will they survive in the horse tank for some time or do they die quickly? Also will they grow while still in the hatching dish? The reason I ask is they just hatched and are extremely small. I dont know that the horses will eat them while they are this small because they are extremely hard to see. Any feedback would be nice! Thank you

They will eat them as soon as they are hatched. The longer you wait to feed them, the less nutritional value they have.

It is really best to hatch them, wait 12-24 hours for the brine to morph into their second stage (InstarII-when they develop a mouth) and then enrich (feed) them any of the standard recommended enrichments on the market and THEN feed them to the dwarfs. Feed what they will eat in about 30 min. Do this 3 to 4 times per day.

Like I tell everyone.... keeping dwarfs is a bit more work than most realize or are told before they purchase them. Once you get in a routine, it's not THAT much trouble...but it is more time consuming than keeping the larger horses.
